Abstract:
The method involves having a particle filter (17) in which temporarily stored particles (m PIst) is regenerated, with which the particle filter is heated for regeneration by influence of exhaust gas temperature (te vDPF Ist) upstream before the particle filter. The exhaust gas temperature is specified upstream before the particle filter on a given exhaust gas temperature desired value (te vDPF Soll). The exhaust gas temperature desired value is a function of a characteristic of the particle filter (17) which depends during the regeneration. An independent claim is included for a device for operation within an exhaust range of an internal combustion engine.
