Abstract:
Provided is a wet type flue gas desulfurization device in which exhaust gas generated by combustion of fuel in combustion equipment such as a boiler is supplied and sulfur oxides are reduced and eliminated from the exhaust gas that is supplied. The desulfurization device 10A is provided with an absorption column 11, a gas introduction unit 13a, an absorbing liquid spray unit 15, a plurality of water flow oxidizing devices 20, an absorbing liquid supply unit 25, a demister 30, a gas exhaust unit 13b, and a control unit 40 for changing the number of water flow oxidizing devices 20 spraying absorbing liquid 14 and air 21 on the basis of the proportion of sulfur content in the absorbing liquid 14 within an absorbing liquid retention tank 11A.
