Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the operation microscope and its operating method which accurately detect coordinates in an observed visual field of the operation microscope and enabling correlation with corresponding diagnostic data from a diagnostic process for giving an image.
CONSTITUTION: For the purpose of a precise measurement of a visual field observed through the operation microscope 1, a laser trigonometry system position detecting device 23 detects the actual relative position of a visual field plane 24 with the position of a corresponding object fine part by a collimating method and an image processor 4 graphically displays it. Once the visual field plane 24 matches the object fine part 19, detected optical system data are used to measure the position of the object fine part 19 as to the operation microscope 1, and the visual field position in a space is found from the detected coordinates of the operation microscope 1.
