Abstract:
To provide a simple and inexpensive operation mode switching device of a hammer drill provided with a blow transmitting mechanism part and a rotation transmitting mechanism part.
A first sleeve 7 and a second sleeve 10 which are movable in the axial direction of an intermediate shaft 4 and spline-engaged with the intermediate shaft 4 are provided, a first clutch mechanism 6 to control transmission of the blow is provided between the first sleeve 7 and a motion converting member 5 which is rotatably and freely fitted on the intermediate shaft 4, and a second clutch mechanism 11 to control transmission of rotation is provided between the second sleeve 10 and a second pinion 12 which is rotatably and freely fitted on the intermediate shaft 4.
