Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum operation period even in the case of adding a processing to a control loop by automatically adjusting the operation time at the time when the processing is not terminated in the control period. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic unit 1 generates output commands PO1 to POn to a process based on input signals PI1 to PIn from the process. In this case, it is decided whether the processing of the control loop is decided in the operation period or not by an operation overload decision means in the unit 1, and the operation period is so extended that the processing can be terminated in this period if the processing of the control loop is not terminated, and the decision result is sent to a first operation time adjusting means to obtain a new operation period for efficient operation of the processing time if the processing of the control loop is terminated. The operation time is adjusted by a second operation time adjusting means until this new operation period most suitably corresponds to the number of control loops.
