To provide an operation-regulating device of a culturing vessel capable of more accurately controlling a state in the culturing vessel by setting a relatively small number of inside state variables, assembling a mathematical model for describing the inside of cells by these inside state variables together with observable outside variables.
This operation-regulating device is equipped with a culturing vessel 1 sealing a medium for culturing animal cells or microorganisms, measuring devices for measuring nutrient component concentrations, product concentration and the density of number of cells, a supplying device for supplying the nutrient components and oxygen into the medium and a processing device 7 for inputting the measured values by the measuring devices and controlling the supplying device. The processing device 7 is provided by taking the time rates of changes of the nutrient component concentrations, product concentration and the density of number of cells as input data, calculating intracellular reaction rates by solving a formula of the intracellular reaction rates, induced from a circuit network and memorized in a memory device 8 and controlling the supplying device based on the calculated results to control the component concentrations in the medium.
