Abstract:
To provide an operation support method for a thermal power plant that selects an optimum carbon credit from a viewpoint of both a CO2 emission and a power generation cost.SOLUTION: An operation support method for a thermal power plant comprises: a calculation step of reading a fuel price and carbon credit information for a thermal power plant, and calculating an actual CO2 emission, a net CO2 emission obtained by subtracting a CO2 offset from a carbon credit from the actual CO2 emission, an actual power cost considering the fuel price, and a net power cost obtained by adding a price of the carbon credit to the actual power cost; and an optimization step of selecting an optimum condition consisting of a combination of a fuel, an operation condition and a carbon credit such that the net CO2 emission and the net power cost satisfy a predetermined condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
