This operation support system 10 is provided for the manufacturing facility 1 which has the upstream side facility 2 for processing a processing object material, the downstream side facility 4 for performing post processing to the processing object material processed in the upstream side facility 2, and a temporary storage yard 3 provided between the upstream side facility 2 and the downstream side facility 4, and supports human operation for changing the setting conditions in the manufacturing facility 1. The operation support system 10 includes an indicator 11 which can be checked by an operator M. The indicator 11 is made to indicate transition information of the number of the processing object materials in the temporary storage yard 3.
