To provide an operation support system for a motor-operated cart capable of recognizing precisely whether or not the motor-operated cart can run up to a destination.
The support system is composed of a position detecting GPS receiver 21 which the motor-operated cart 2 has, a navigation system 10 which searches a route for reaching an input destination on the basis of map information and positional information detected by the GPS receiver and calculates the distance from the present place up to the destination, a monitoring sensor 4 for monitoring the capacity of the travel battery of the motor-operated cart 2, and a determination means 11 which determines whether or not drive up to the destination by the battery is feasible on the basis of the distance calculated by the navigation system and battery capacity information by the monitoring sensor 4 and performs notification of the determination result.
