An operation switch device comprises an operation part 20 which is depressed by a player, and a case member 12 in which the operation part 20 is housed. The operation part 20 includes a tongue 247 which protrudes on the surface thereof. The case member 12 includes a recess 121 in which the operation part 20 is housed, and a tongue engage part 121b to which the tongue 247 is engaged when the operation part 20 is housed in the recess 121. The tongue 247 is exposed through the tongue engage part 121b to the outside of the case member 12 and when an operation switch device 10 is provided in a body of a game machine 1, the tongue 247 is brought into contact with the body of the game machine 1 and grounded via the body.
