PURPOSE: To simplify the mechanism, by making the operation of an idler which contacts and disengages to and from a winding reel stand switchable free, through a lever which supports said idler rocking free.

CONSTITUTION: A pin 13a is provided on an idler lever 13 for axially supporting a take-up idler 12, and this pin 13a is coupled in idler with a square hole part 17a of a head base 17. Also, a pause state which does not move the head base 17, a rewind state for returning the head base, or a quick forward state is selected by rocking the idler lever 13 by a pause cam 55, a rewind operating lever 28 and a quick forward operating lever 35. Accordingly, the operating state is switched by only the idler lever 13.
