PURPOSE: To facilitate description of a numerical formula by operating the numerical formula including a variable with respect to the operation of the numerical formula with the inverse Polish notation in the stack operation system.
CONSTITUTION: A substitution operator and an arrangement reference operator are executed with a numerical value stack 4 and a variable stack 5 to arbitrarily perform substitution, addition, or the like of contents of a table 7 where variable names and numerical values are managed correspondingly to each other. Consequently, the inverse Polish notation like ba+1 indicating a+b is possible, and the stack operation of the numerical formula using the variable can be executed. Thus, variables are freely used, and a user uses the numerical formula handling variables without paying his attention to contents of the stack at all.
