Abstract:
PURPOSE:To teach a robot its operation on interactive basis by using graphic commands which are easy for a human being to understand while confirming the robot operation on a display device without using robot language. CONSTITUTION:When an operator 10 presses a light pen 7 against a tablet 8 near a terminal point of a graphic form of a three-dimensional projection drawing 11, a graphic processor 9 calculates a point closest to the coordinates indicated with the light pen 7 and the terminal point coordinates in the graphic form of the three-dimensional projection drawing 11, and displays the indication of the terminal point. Simultaneously, three-dimensional coordinate data on the terminal point are calculated from an objective model and displayed on a display part. The operator 10 specifies the coordinates of a movement destination as a terminal point or relative position from the terminal point normally by using a graphic command 12. A grip position is specified as usual and a point which is +50mm. away from the point is specified by indicating +Z50 by using the graphic command 12. When the coordinates are specified, the point is indicated on the three- dimensional projection drawing 11.
