Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small press/rotary operation type electronic component which has such a good operability that a cylindrical operating knob can be operated by rotation and a middle or an end portion of the operating knob can be operated by depressing it, and to provide an electronic apparatus using the electronic component.
SOLUTION: On a pedestal 31 provided with two push-on switches 32 near the front side on a tetragonal upper face, a moving contact part 41 engaging with an elastic contact leg 37 provided on the pedestal 31 is provided at an end, while a support 40 connected to a cylindrical operating knob 42 rotatably together at the other end is made rotatably to be supported. Together with this, a frame body 43, to which the cylindrical operating knob 42 is rotatably disposed, is possible to slant within a prescribed range so that a pressing part 46 at the lower face of the front makes contact with each of the said push-on switches 32, and rotatably disposed around a rear side in parallel to rotating axial shaft of the cylindrical operating knob 42 facing a side on which the push-on switches 32 are disposed as a supporting shaft.
