To eliminate the need of the starting operation of a rice cooking work for each pot cycle and to simplify a rice cooking operation by providing the subject unit with a pot setting means for reserving the number of pots for cooking rice and a controller for performing control so as to repeat processes from a measurement process to a rice cooking process until the end of the reserved number of the pots.
The operations of respective means such as the pot setting means 74 and a starting means 75, etc., and the operation of an ignition device 7, etc., are inputted to the CPU 21 of the controller 20 and a measurement motor 17, a combustion device 7' and respective valves, etc., are started by the respective inputs. For the rice cooking work of the reserved number of the pots, the various kinds of items such as a rice cooking amount and a water amount, etc., are set and the control is performed by the controller 20 after the reservation setting of the pot number of the pot setting means 74 and the ON operation of the starting means 75. That is, whether or not the rice cooking work (the rice cooking process from the measurement process to the exchange of an inner pot) for one pot is ended is detected, whether or not the rice cooking work for the reserved number of the pots is ended is detected when YES is detected and returning to the measurement process is performed when NO is detected. Then, the rice cooking work is continued until YES is detected.
