PURPOSE: To improve the temperature characteristic by connecting a base of an NPN transistor(TR) of an output stage of an operational amplifier whose final amplifier stage circuit consists of the NPN TR and a current source to an emitter of the NPN TR whose base level is fixed to a level higher than a ground level by two base-emitter ON voltages.

CONSTITUTION: A negative input terminal IN- and an output terminal OUT are connected by a resistor R2, and in the case of a noninverting amplifier, an emitter level of a clamp NPN TR Q10 connecting to a base of an output Tr Q6 is higher than a base level of the clamp NPN TR Q10 and the clamp NPN TR Q10 is turned off and the normal amplifier operation outputting an output voltage in response to an input voltage is implemented. When the level of the negative input terminal IN- is negative, the base level of the clamp NPN TR Q10 is higher than the ground level by two base-emitter ON voltages, then the output voltage of the output terminal OUT is clamped at the ground level.
