Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily recognize the operation result of an operational instruction and to obtain a highly reliable recovery function for an operation error by surely recognizing the operational status of an operational instruction in an electronic computer for executing the pipeline operation for high performance.
CONSTITUTION: The operational status holding device for the electronic computer for executing pipeline operation is characteristically provided with an operational status register 3 arranged in each register to be specified as a destination operand for an operational instruction, an operational status flag 5 arranged correspondingly to the register 3 at the rate of 1 to 1 and an operational status holding means 7 for holding operational status indicating the operation result of the operational instruction in the flag 5.
