Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic composition for a silicone hydrogel contact lens that suppresses adsorption of chlorobutanol to the silicone hydrogel contact lens.SOLUTION: The ophthalmic composition for a silicone hydrogel contact lens is prepared by combining (A) chlorobutanol and (B) at least one selected from the group consisting of hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate, alginic acid, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, and salts thereof.
