Abstract:

To provide an ophthalmic composition improving stability of a tear film.

The ophthalmic composition containing 0.1-5w/v% of trometamol and 0.001-0.3 w/v% of tocopherol acetate remarkably improves the stability of the tear film, thus suppressing drying of a tear fluid, and is especially useful as the ophthalmic composition for preventing and treating dry eye.
