Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic lens in which the viewing range is comparatively wide, and the contrast is improved, and which can be manufactured easily, and a design method and a manufacturing method for the ophthalmic lens.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic lens has a transmission area through which light passes and a non-transmission area through which light does not pass. When assuming a lens having a continuous area which is an area where the light transmittance shows a continuous value from the center of the lens toward a radial direction, and which at least includes the center of the lens, and a change area where the light transmittance changes in a radial direction in the continuous area, the ophthalmic lens is characterized in that in the ophthalmic lens, the transmission area and the non-transmission area are arranged so that the existence ratio of the transmission area and the non-transmission area in a circumferential direction is equivalent to a change in the light transmittance in the change area of the lens assumed, from the center of the ophthalmic lens toward the radial direction.
