Abstract:
To provide ophthalmologic anti-congestive agents and anti-congestive ophthalmologic compositions, hardly causing rebound congestion.
The ophthalmologic anti-congestive agent for nonallergic congestion comprises diphenhydramine or a salt thereof. Preferably, the composition contains trometamol and boric acid or a salt thereof but no vasoconstrictor nor a preservative selected from a cationic preservative, a paraben, sorbic acid and a salt thereof. The composition for frequent instillation and for soft contact lens wearers is provided.
