To accurately measure the distribution of the corneal thickness of an examined eye by a simple structure.

The ophthalmological apparatus comprises a measuring part with a corneal thickness measuring means for optically measuring the corneal thickness at an arbitrary measuring point of the examined eye in a non-contact way; a moving means for moving the measuring part in the vertical and horizontal directions to the examined eye; a photographic optical system for photographing the anterior ocular segment; a display means for displaying the image of the photographed anterior ocular segment of the examined eye; a relative position detecting means for detecting the relative position of the examined eye and the measuring part in the vertical and horizontal directions; a measuring point setting means for setting a plurality of measuring points on the cornea for measuring the distribution of the corneal thickness of the examined eye; a driving control means for driving/controlling the moving means so that the measuring optical axis of the corneal thickness measuring means is moved to the respective measuring points in order set by the setting means based on the result of detection by the relative position detecting means; and a means for obtaining the information on the distribution of the corneal thickness of the examined eye by correlating the result of measurement at the respective measuring points by the corneal thickness measuring means to the measuring position.
