Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a small sized lathe, in which there is no interference between tools, and capable of correctly transferring a work.
CONSTITUTION: Headstocks 3, 5 are provided on a common guide face 2a movably in the A, B direction, and at transferring a work 36 between the headstocks, generation of misalignment between spindles 3a, 5a is prevented. Further, turret heads 26a, 27a are respectively arranged inside tool rests 26, 27, tools 29 are arranged so as to enable to machine the works on the corresponding spindles, and hence interference between the mutual tools on the turrets is prevented.
