Abstract:
To provide an optical amplifier for transmitting / receiving control signals without causing crosstalk and flexibly controlling many optical amplifier units in a unified way, and to provide an optical amplification relay transmission system employing the optical amplifier.
The optical amplifier includes a communication unit and a plurality of the optical amplifier units connected thereto. The optical amplifier is characterized in that a unique identification code is decided for each optical amplifier unit so as to distinguishingly controlling a plurality of the interpolation amplifier units. Further, using the optical amplifier configures the optical amplifier transmission system.
