Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an optical amplifier making possible the reasonable use of a utilizable space. CONSTITUTION: The amplifier 1 comprises two active optical guides, two dichroic couplers, two laser sources acting on the active guides through the dichroic couplers and optical guides 14 for interconnecting various component elements. The dichroic couplers, directional couplers and light meters are preassembled on an auxiliary frame 21 and the active parts and optical guides 14 are round two drums disposed on an organizer frame 28. These frames 21, 28 and pumping laser source are mounted on a main frame 15.
