Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in size in a radial direction and in an optical axis direction in a light quantity adjusting device.SOLUTION: A light quantity adjusting device includes: a first base member 4 having an opening that regulates an optical path and having a part formed into spherical concave face; a second base member 1 having an opening that is substantially coaxial to the fixed opening of the first base member 4 and having a part formed into spherical convex face, wherein the spherical faces of the first and second base members 4, 1 form a given space; and one or more light quantity adjusting blades 3 having a light quantity adjusting part formed into at least a spherical shape for opening and closing the substantially coaxial openings and adjusting the quantity of light passing through the openings, the light quantity adjusting blades moving in the given space. A direction orthogonal to the opening plane of the opening is referred as an optical axis AX; a point where a curved line of the spherical face of the light quantity adjusting blade 3 intersects the optical axis AX is referred as a vertex 3i' of the curved line; and a rotation center 3h of the light quantity adjusting blade 3 is disposed at a position different from the spherical center 11 of the spherical shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
