Abstract:
To find out an appropriate material or material combination of a component element of an optical assembly that enables a high wear resistance operation of the optical assembly.SOLUTION: As to an optical assembly 100 having a lens unit 120 movable along an optical axis 190 of the optical assembly, the lens unit includes a lens mount 122 for holding at least one lens 126, and the optical assembly further includes a sleeve 130 for housing the lens mount. The lens mount is in sliding contact with the sleeve, and is movable relative to the sleeve when the lens unit moves along an optical axis. The lens mount has its outer surface formed of a self-lubricating material, or has the self-lubricating material, and or the sleeve has its inner surface formed of the self-lubricating material, or has the self-lubricating material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
