To expand a detectable range and to stably detect an optical axis over a long period, by forming the upper face of a box out of a diffusion plate, and providing a partition plate protrude upward to equally partition the diffusion plate and the bottom wall of the box.
The upper face of a box is formed out of a diffusion plate 3, and a partition plate 5 equally partitioning the diffusion plate 3 and the bottom wall 1a of the box is provided. The partition plate 5 is protruded upward from the diffusion plate 3, and light receiving elements 9a, 9b are arranged at sections partitioned by the partition plate 5. The sunlight (a) made incident on to the partition plate 5 is reflected by the partition plate 5, enters a chamber 7b through the diffusion plate 3, and is detected by the light receiving element 9b. The sunlight (a) made incident on above the partition plate 5 directly enters a chamber 7a through the diffusion plate 3 on the chamber 7a side and is received by the light receiving element 9a. The received light quantity of the light receiving element 9a on the chamber 7a side and the received light quantity of the light receiving element 9b on the chamber 7b side differ, and the optical axis of the sunlight (a) is detected based on the difference in the received light quantity.
