The optical body includes: an optical layer having a band shape and having an incident surface on which light is incident; and a reflection layer formed in the optical layer and having a corner cube shape. The reflection layer directionally reflects light incident on the incident surface at incident angles (θ, ) and the ridge line direction of the corner cube is nearly parallel to the longitudinal direction of the band-shaped optical layer, wherein θ is an angle formed by a vertical line l1 with respect to the incident surface and incident light incident on the incident surface or reflected light emitted from the incident surface, and is an angle formed by the ridge line of the corner cube and a component formed by projecting incident light or reflected light on the incident surface.
