PURPOSE: To provide the optical bus cable which can be formed by a multifiber optical cable of one group by making an optic/electric transducer element and electric/optic transducer element in an optical cable connection mechanism connected to both ends of the multifiber optical cable into a form of module so as to be attachable and detachable.
CONSTITUTION: An optic/electric transducer element 42 or electric/optic transducer element 42 placed corresponding to each optical fiber of a multifiber optical cable 1 is made into a form of module so as to be attachable and detachable to make a transducer element module 31. A lid 33 on a module mounting section 32 is opened to mount the transducer element module 31 made of the optic/ electric transducer element 42 on a location corresponding to the optical fiber receiving an optical signal and the transducer element module 31 made of the electric/optic transducer element 42 on a location corresponding to the optical fiber to which an optical signal is to be transmitted. Thus, a signal line 34 and a power supply line 35 are connected through a connector section 43 to the corresponding signal line 34 and power supply line 35 of the electric connector 26.
