Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the holding force for seal grease at the slide surface of a plug accommodation part through formation in meshes shallow thin grooves at the slide surface of the plug body of the plug accommodation part and to enhance the anti-corrosiveness of the part.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of O-ring grooves 41 are furnished on the peripheral circumference at the foremost extremity of a cylindrical body 4, and a projection 42 adapting to a groove part 15 is formed in the lower part at the tail on the other side, and a notch 43 to mate with a rectangular opening 14 is provided in this projection. The cylindrical body 4 embodied into the final shape is subjected to nonelectrolytic nickel-phosphorus plating, and when the resultant inside surface is subjected to honing, thin grooves are processed into meshes. Thereby the seal grease between the inside surface of a plug accommodation part 10 and the peripheral surface of the plug body 2 can be held stably for a long period of time, and the anti-corrosiveness is enhanced.
