To provide an optical cable wound body, an optical cable package, an optical cable winding method, and an optical cable packaging method, which facilitate bundle rolling and packaging, and are less likely to cause a load collapse, even when the optical cable and the bundle have complex shapes.
An optical cable wound body has two confluence parts 4c having portions 4a, 4c where an optical cable 4 is wound and the optical cable 4 is arranged in an outer periphery, and a portion 4b with the optical cable intersecting in the central part, wherein the portion arranged in the outer periphery is configured such that both sides of the optical cable in the longitudinal direction of the portion 4c with the optical cable intersecting in the central part is confluent with the portion arranged in the outer periphery. The optical cable wound body also has two extension parts 4a extending separately from the intersecting portion 4c, respectively, on both sides oppositely sandwiching the portion 4c with the optical cable intersecting in the central part.
