Japanese Patent JPH031339
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent decrease in recording sensitivity and deterioration of an optical recording layer by using indoaniline metal complex dye for the optical recording layer and a specific resin for a buffer layer.

CONSTITUTION: The optical recording layer 3 consists of indoaniline metal complex dye, and the buffer layer 4 consists of polystylene resin, polyacrylic resin or mixture or copolymers of these. A hard layer 1 is provided if required, which consists of UV-curing resin such as urethane acrylate and epoxyacrylate. A transparent substrate 2 consists of polycarbonate resin, acrylic resin, epoxy resin, polyester resin, etc., and usually has guide grooves for tracking for reading out by laser light. Thereby, the obd. medium has good recording sensitivity, uniformity of wave shape for writing and long-term storage stability.
