Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize facilitations or the like of manufacturing, handling and improving of usability by a connector structure for an optical communication in which an optical coupling accuracy is not required. SOLUTION: In an optical communication connecting unit (connector), a photoelectric converter such as a semiconductor laser, a photodiode or the like is optically coupled with an optical fiber. The converter has electrodes for inputting/outputting an electric signal. That is, transmitting/receiving information is communicated between the connector and a connector receptacle in an electrode contact manner. Thus, an aligning accuracy request in an optical route may not influence to a mechanical positional accuracy required for attaching/detaching the connector.
