Abstract:
To position an electric circuit board and an optical circuit unit.SOLUTION: An optical communication device 1a to which a communication optical fiber 100 is connected includes: an optical circuit unit 20 that transmits and receives signal light; a lens 65 that spatially and optically couples an input/output end of the signal light with an input/output end of the communication optical fiber 100; a base substrate 10 that incorporates the optical circuit unit 20 and lens 65; and an electric circuit board 30 that incorporates a control circuit 20 controlling the optical circuit unit 20 and has a plurality of VIA holes 31. The base substrate 10a has a groove 11a formed outside a region where the optical circuit unit 20 and lens 65 are incorporated, and further includes a fixing pin 70 inserted (press-fitted/fitted) into one of the VIA holes 31 and the groove 11a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
