Abstract:
To provide an optical communication device in which two-way communication is possible using the same device.
The communication devices 200, 201 are provided with an opto-electronic element 4 and an input signal amplifier circuit 1 and an output signal amplifier circuit 2 which convert sending and receiving information of the opto-electronic element 4 to an electric signal. Since the opto-electronic element 4 switches a transmission mode and a receiving mode by a control signal from a communication direction control terminal 5, and carries out information transmission by light emitting, and information receiving by light receiving; it becomes possible to carry out two-way communication using the same device.
