Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication device that improves the reliability of communication without using a high-luminance optical electronic element or high-sensitivity optical electronic element.SOLUTION: An optical communication device 1 comprises: a communication LED 12; and a microcomputer 15 for receiving an optical signal output by another apparatus 50 by recognizing whether or not a light-receiving level by the communication LED 12 exceeds a threshold level. The optical communication device further comprises a light-receiving amount increase LED 13 arranged at a place where emission light is received by the communication LED 12. The microcomputer 15 turns the light-receiving amount increase LED 13 into a light-emitting state and receives the optical signal output by the other apparatus 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
