To make a system to be small and light weight and to improve the diversity of communication with simple constitution by detecting a relative distance between aerospace vehicles, speed and an azimuth based on reflection radar light and executing optical communication.
A photodetector 28 for radar light detection is arranged in the transmission optical path of an optical demultiplexer 24 through a band pass filter 29 and a condenser lens 30. A rendezvous docking control part 23 is connected to the output terminal of the photodetector 28. The rendezvous docking control part 23 calculates the relative distance with the opposite aerospace vehicle and speed from an inputted output signal, generates the driving signal of the aerospace vehicles based on the relative distance, speed and azimuth information from an angle control part 21 and controls the navigation of the aerospace vehicles. Then, rendezvous docking with the opposite aerospace vehicle 41 is executed. Namely, an optical antenna 10 is mounted on the aerospace vehicle and the aerospace vehicle executes optical communication with the opposite aerospace vehicle through the optical antenna 10.
