PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical components formed with a transparent polymeric material film and having smooth etched faces.
SOLUTION: The polymeric material film is formed on a substrate by direct coating-curing or vapor deposition or it is formed by melt extrusion or on another substrate, isolated, bonded and fixed on the above substrate while retaining the shape. The polymeric material film is etched to manufacture the objective fine optical components.
