To provide an optical composite lead-in wire allowing optical fiber units to be easily laid in only necessary places at a low cost and to provide its manufacturing method.
This optical composite lead-in wire 10 is composed by longitudinally attaching pipes 4 for inserting the optical fiber units 3 composed of coated optical fibers along the lengthwise direction of a low-voltage lead-in wire 2 for electric power composed by intertwining plural insulated cores 1, and by bundling the pipes 4 and the low-voltage lead-in wire 2 for electric power by the use of a bundling means 5. In this manufacturing method for the optical composite lead-in wire 10, the pipes 4 for inserting the optical fiber units 3 composed of the coated optical fibers are longitudinally attached along the lengthwise direction of the low-voltage lead-in wire 2 for electric power composed by intertwining the plural insulated cores 1, and the pipes 4 are bundled with the low-voltage lead-in wire 2 for electric power by winding at least one binding wire 5 along the lengthwise direction of the low-voltage lead-in wire 2 for electric power and the pipes 4.
