Title:
OPTICAL COMPOUND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, ITS OPTICAL COMPOUND CONNECTION CABLE, ITS OPTICAL COMPOUND BRANCHING DEVICE, AND ITS OPTICAL COMPOUND CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005085568
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electrooptical compound communication system in which construction and change of system is easy.

A pair of power supply terminals capable of flowing current to a power supply cable and an optical plug for connecting to an optical fiber are installed at an optical compound plug provided at both ends of a cable part of an optical compound connection cable 600 in which the power supply cable and the optical fiber are provided nearly coaxially. A power supply terminal receptacle fitting for connecting to the power supply terminal of the optical compound connection cable 600 and an optical connector for connecting to the optical plug are installed on an optical compound branching device 400 and an optical compound receptacle 500 for branching a light signal to the other optical connector by a broad band branching coupler or the like, an interface device 300 for converting an external communication signal into the light signal, and an optical compound converter 230 which is supplied with a commercial AC power supply and converts the light signal into an electric multiplexing or converts the electric signal into the light signal, and each of these can be connected by the optical compound connection cable 600, and the optical compound communication system 100 is constructed in a branching form.
