Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector which is constituted of a reduced number of parts, meets the need of space-saving, and is assembled by simplified work to reduce work man-hours.
SOLUTION: The optical connector adaptor is constructed in such a way that a 1st shell body 11 can be assembled by forming a slit 17g in a part 17s of a hold flange part 17a in the neighborhood of an engagement part 17a so that the engagement part 17e is pressurized by a 1st flange part 13a and the part 17s of the hold flange part 17a is elastically deformed when the hold flange part 17a enters an opening part 13e of the 1st flange part 13a.
