Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold an optical connector at an appropriate position by juxtaposing plural lines of holding pawls having elasticity on the upper surface of a main body and holding the optical connector by a pair of holding pawls opposed between the lines.
SOLUTION: The main body 5 is formed of material having the elasticity such as resin. The optical connector 6 is provided with a pair of ferrules 8 which is terminated so that the optical fibers 2 are butted and connected. Two lines of holding pawls 7 formed integrally with the main body 5 are juxtaposed on the upper surface 5a of the main body 5. A pair of holding pawls 7 opposed between the lines holds the optical connector 6 by making pressing force in a direction where the ferrules 8 of the optical connector 6 press-contact with each other act. A space between the holding pawls 7 adjacent in the longitudinal direction of the main body 5 is set as a slit 9 having width that the optical fiber 2 connected by the optical connector 6 can be inserted. The main body 5 is attachably/detachably fixed on a supporting member by using a fixing screw.
