PURPOSE: To easily realize a high packaging density in whatever state an optical connector is used, by forming a pair of optical connector half parts and ≥2 pairs of the optical connector half parts formed by laminating these optical connector half bodies in a compact form.
CONSTITUTION: The optical connector half part 16 consists of the connector body 18 having a flange 18A on its side face. A laminating member 20 is used in the case of laminating of ≥2 pairs of these optical connector half pairs 16. This laminating member 20 has a flange clamping part 20B to be engaged with the flange 18A of the connector body 18. The connector body 18 is clamped by this flange clamping part 20B. The laminating member 20 has a main body part 20A on which the connector clamping part 20B is formed integrally with it and connecting projections 24 are formed on the front surface and connecting recessed parts 26 are formed on the rear surface. The respective laminating members 20 are connected to the other laminating members 20 on top and bottom thereof to each other by fitting their connecting projections 24 with the connecting recessed parts 26 of the adjacent other laminating members 20 and fitting the connecting projections 24 of the other adjacent laminating members 20 with these connecting recessed parts 26.
