PURPOSE: To provide an optical connector having a function to improve reproducibility by repetitive operating of the piosition where the optical connec tor is fixed with a ferrule in a non-elastic sleeve when the respective segments of an optical transmission circuit having the non-elastic sleeve in its fitting parts and the optical connector are fitted.

CONSTITUTION: The ferrule 1 of the optical connector is provided with mechanisms 9, 10, 11, 12 for applying load in a direction orthogonal with the axis of the ferrule, by which the mispositioning generated by a fitting clearance is removed. The reproducibility by the repetitive operation of the position where the optical connector is fixed with the ferrule in the non-elastic sleeve. As a result, there is an effect of improving the transmission efficiency of the light energy at the time of connecting the respective segments in the optical transmission circuit.
