An optical convergence element having plural focal distances has a single solid structure composed at least of first and second transparent materials forming mutually attached lenses 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20, and the refraction factor of the lens and the curvature of a surface are determined so as to form an image while being focused in the direction of at least two optical axes A and B. Thus, a miniaturized optical element capable of being easily integrated into the main body of an inexpensive and compact camera is provided. Further, since the optical element has the single solid structure, the reflection on the interface of the lens and air is prevented and image quality is improved.
