Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stably obtain light of plural prescribed wavelengths with high output by independently controlling the temps. of plural semiconductor lasers so as to obtain the light of the prescribed wavelengths and synthesizing the resulted light, thereby obtaining excitation light. CONSTITUTION:A temp. control means independently controls the temps. of the respective semiconductor lasers to control the temps. of the 1st and 2nd semiconductor lasers 11a, 11b to the temps. at which the wavelength of the 1st light outputted from the 1st semiconductor laser 11a and the wavelength of the 2nd light outputted from the 2nd semiconductor laser 11b attains the prescribed wavelengths varying from each other in proximity. The means similarly controls the temps. of the 3rd and 4th semiconductor lasers 11c, 11d to the temps. at which the wavelength of the 3rd light and the wavelength of the 4th light attain the prescribed wavelengths varying from each other in proximity. The light of the plural prescribed wavelengths is, therefore, easily obtd. by the temp. control of the semiconductor lasers without selecting and obtaining the semiconductor laser which generates the light of the prescribed wavelength. The excitation light of the high output is obtd. by subjecting 4 beams of the resulted light of the prescribed wavelengths to wavelength multiplex synthesizing then to polarization synthesizing.
