To enhance efficiency, to provide an optical coupling device for avoiding problems in manufacture of the conventional device and to further provide a probe and communication equipment with such optical coupling device.
The optical coupling device is provided with a light emitting means (1) to be installed in a coating member (13) and for emitting a first optical signal (2) to an optical duct (12) and a light receiving means (4) to be separated from the light emitting means (1) and for receiving a second optical signal (5). In order to enhance the efficiency and to simplify manufacturing processes, the light receiving means receives the second optical signal via the coating member. The optical probe is provided with the optical duct for coupling the optical coupling device, an optical sensor (8), the coupling device and the sensor, for transmitting the first optical signal (2) to the sensor and for receiving the second optical signal by the coupling device. The communication equipment is provided with two stations (28, 29) coupled by the optical duct (2) and having coupling devices (14A, 14B).
