Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simply and inexpensively fix an optical deflecting element with high reliability. CONSTITUTION:A polygon mirror 23, a leaf spring, and a slanting sleeve 25 are put one over another on a flange 22, pressed in and fixed to a rotary shaft 21 supported by a bearing, through the rotary shaft 21 and a locking rod 26 is inserted into the lateral hole of the rotary shaft 21 in contact with the bottom part of the slanting surface of the slanting sleeve 25; and the slanting sleeve 25 is rotated so that the lock rod 26 slides on the slanting surface of the slanting sleeve 25, thereby fitting the lock rod 26 on the fixation surface of the slanting sleeve 25.
