Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical deflector case and a manufacturing method thereof, and an optical deflector package and a manufacturing method thereof, with which it is possible to fasten glass without applying a load to the optical deflector and store the optical deflector that oscillates.SOLUTION: An optical deflector package 2 comprises an optical deflector case 3, an optical deflector 4 stored inside the optical deflector case 3, and a glass lid 5 fastened to the optical deflector case 3. A first recess 3b to a third recess 3d are formed in the body part 3a of the optical deflector case 3, and the optical deflector 4 is housed in the second recess 3c and fixed in position. The third recess 3d serves as a work space when the optical deflector 4 oscillates. Frit glass 8 is formed on the surface 3e of the optical deflector case 3 by heat treatment. The glass lid 5 is fastened to the surface 3e of the optical deflector case 3 by the frit glass 8 that is fused and solidified by a laser beam 36a from a laser irradiator 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
